Halo 4 Ranking System Guide

Halo 4 Ranking System Guide

Halo 4’s ranking system is different from how it used to work in Halo Reach and Halo 3
before that. To that end, we’ve put together this guide to help you get started.

Like every Halo game, you begin as a recruit with a small selection of weapons including an assault rifle, a magnum, a frag grenade, and a couple of aesthetic items to get you started off. You’ll have recruit armor, an emblem, and a stance. The stance is a new feature in the game, which allows you to essentially pose your character on your player card. It’s fun to look at when you’re not mowing down your enemies.

There are fifty levels in total for you to get through, requiring XP or experience points which you’ll get from playing Wargames (competitive PVP) and Spartan Ops (co-op), you’ll also earn exp from completing challenges and a small amount of XP from using Forge.

At each level, you’ll gain new ranks and earn what the game refers to as Spartan Points, which you can use to purchase and unlock in-game items like armor, armor abilities, and weapons. Once you hit level 50, everything will be open for you to pick as you’ll have enough Spartan Points.

Halo 4 is set for release on November 6 for the Xbox 360.
